Pre-Team and Recreation Gymnastics Coach

We strive to provide a safe environment for kids and their parents that aims to educate and motivate in a way that is fun and healthy for kids. Our goal is for kids to leave class and they can't wait to tell their parents about what a great time they had that day!

Our program is the largest and most successful in Ventura County and we are looking for people with experience in theater, gymnastics, dance, tumbling, parkour or cheer who are dependable and hard working. We want someone who is fun and enthusiastic. Someone who can feel comfortable leading a group of kids through exercise and can have fun doing it.

Monday through Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings and some weekday mornings. 10-35 hours a week.

Hourly rate is based on experience.

Sweet Peas Preschool Program Director

Do you love working with young children? Are you athletic and high energy? Are you organized? This might be the teaching job for you.

In addition to teaching preschool classes, the Program Director is responsible for ensuring that the Sweet Peas Educational Gymnastics' programs and operations effectively carry out the Company’s vision. The Program Director is accountable for the success and growth of the program.

Previous Gymnastics knowledge is preferred but is not a necessity. Experience in dance, cheer, acrobatics, physical education will all qualify. Curriculum is already designed and must just be followed and implemented. Must be available some afternoons Monday through Friday from 3:30-6:30pm during peak business hours.

The Program Director is responsible for hiring, staffing, training, supervising, disciplining, recognizing, and promoting teachers and staff members within the Department. S/he creates and maintains class schedules that provide for student needs and the growth of the program while maintaining fiscal responsibility to the company. The Program Director ensures that Sweet Peas’ curriculum is successfully implemented and that instructors effectively teach the curriculum. The Program Director established procedures for safety and ensures that such procedures are consistently being met.

Position does require physical ability to lift equipment and spot small children. Must be able to lift 30-50 pounds on a regular basis.

Pay: $20.00 - $27.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
